I know exactly how you feel. Same thing just happened to me a few weeks ago. One of my youth leaders from church went to sleep and never woke up. I still don't know why. A few days before she died, the youngest son of one of my other youth leaders (from the same church) died in a tractor accident. He was only 13 years old. I remember when he was born. I was just starting high school. Was a very sad week for a lot of us.
I also learned in 2001 just how fleeting life can be. I had 6 deaths in a 6 month period. They ranged from 20 years old to 50 years old. That was the year it really hit me that we are never guaranteed tomorrow. It changed the way I look at life. Now I try to live it to the fullest and not put stuff off. It was a good lesson to learn.
