it may be less cerebral than all that...

This man was in your living room repeatedly, at least on tv- so he was almost like family.

Feeling like you lost someone close to you sticks in your head for quite some time.

You have every right to be sad and mad all at the same time. You need to grieve for him.

Let yourself grieve- don't try to put him out of your thoughts and you will stop obsessing about him as the greiving process continues.

At least this is my theory...

You ARE strong, like the others have all said.
