dunno if you guys have this but we have this real technical thing called taking a paper for non-credit.
basically... you can just turn up.
but you don't have to turn up if you don't feel like it
you don't have to do assessment if you don't feel like it (but they can usually be persuaded to mark it if you like)
you don't get a grade
and you don't pay anything.but after you have done that for a course you aren't allowed to enroll in it and do it properly. i did this with a couple of grad psych papers. it was a lot of fun :-)
