He doesn't like for you to help people out with your time/energy?
Have you ever sat him down and talked to him face to face and shared what it means to you to be able to do this for other's? Maybe he doesn't realize how important it is for you.
It sounds like you are doing a great thing. I applaud you. More people should sacrificially invest into the lives' of other's. That's part of what we are all here for!
