I have a HUGE hole in this tooth where part of the filling fell out about 6 months ago. I am just now in the position to try and fix it. I use LOTS of Sensodyne toothpaste but otherwise can manage. I have several other teeth that have cavities of some size also. He didn't even tell me how many. I had not been to a dentist in 5 years for lack of money or insurance.I offered to take Valium--something I took many years ago and do okay on. His attitude was you are probably so strung out on benzos Valium probably won't work. Odd, since I haven't taken it in over 10 years for ANY reason and only take 1/2 an Ambien most nights to help me sleep.
I too am a wuss and panicked mess in the dental chair thanks to some VERY bad dentistry experiences that were NOT my fault!
