I love it. Here's my attempt to add to it. One of my favorite movies was Real Genius and this is a paraphrase of one of my favorite lines:
Talking to parents: Your daughter (son) is so bright, is there any chance she (he) was adopted?Another from the same film: I was contemplating the words of Socrates who said "I drank what?".
From "The Princess Bride": Truly, you have a dizzying intellect.
Sometimes I just want to call people on their pretentious behavior and ask "and you are an expert on this because...."
I never get to use these lines.... I just bite my tongue or I think of it a moment too late...but even if I think of it on time I would still bite my tongue.
