I'm an actuary, which means that I work on the math behind insurance and annuities. Actuaries do things like develop new products or make sure that we have enough assests to pay claims or determine crediting rates for policies that are already inforce. I really like it.
Definitely it is NEVER too late to change and find something you love. If it seems impossible, it isn't. If you keep trying, eventually something will work out.
