I'm just popping by.. so thought I'd drop in a quick message.
I will return properly at some point, but in the mean time I will only be posting / reading on PB Books.
I will no longer offer any IT support, or help with any IT problems. Thanks to a mail I received I've decided its simply not worth it in the current PB Climate. I have only ever tried to help, and while I realise I always try and use basic language, and basic solutions, it seems some people are unhappy with this. After 14 years in IT, the one thing I know is that you start with the simplest answer and work up from that. You also use the most basic language until you know how proficient your "customer" is.
But not to worry, you needn't worry about this again.I also won't be offering any direct support. Those that know me, and consider me a friend - know you always have my support, and you will always be in my thoughts. So when I don't reply to your post, please don't think its beause I don't care.
I will also try and avoid asking for support here also. Its time for me to find support from somewhere else.
And finally, I will be turning off my babble mail in 24 hours. I think most people know my email address who I would want to know it, but if you don't, drop me a line before this time tomorrow.
And to the few (I think you'll know who you are), thanks for ruining one of the best places on the internet for me.
