I thought of doing that once or twice when I had humiliated myself on Babble. (which I'm not saying you've done. I'm talking about me). But I figured my style of writing would make it relatively difficult to do without detection, and it might make people feel some suspicion toward me. And if you tell people who you used to be, people know it anyway.
I finally decided to make "Dinah" mean something different, rather than changing my name from "Dinah". Of course, I rather like Dinah. If you don't like your posting name, that's a perfectly fine reason to change.
