Hmm. I'm not particularly fond of winter. No. I like summer. I like to look at it out the window :-)

I'll just have to buy my self a house and we can play swapsies. You can follow the winter around and I'll get summer, ok? Seriously though I would LOVE that. Some lucky people get to do this by working half the year in Aussie and half the year in the US. I'd love to do that.

Even better... We have central heating! Okay. That probably isn't going to sound too special but seeing as we don't go below zero we typically don't have double glazed windows or central heating and it is sort of a NZ thing to put more clothes on if you are cold. Even in houses.
And it is a foggy damp cold here because of the river. Also the point that this used to be swamp land until we drained the swamp into the lake (which may be why it isn't the cleanest of lakes). So, lots of fog...
But living on campus they need to have habitable accomodation for the international students and so that means central heating :-)
So we throw the windows open and turn the heaters up (power being included in our rent and all)
:-)So it isn't that bad really...
Just the walk to the office and back...
Oh. And cigarettes. Have to venture outside for cigarettes. That probably doen't sound too bad until you factor in that I smoke about 30 a day.
