Also, for what it's worth, this site was NOT set up for man bashing. I'm sure there'll be the occasional "my boyfriend/husband/partner is a jerk" kind of comments that some women make when they're hurting and needing support (just as some men might say about their girlfriends/wives/partners), but that's NOT what this site is all about.
I think it might also be a refuge for women who have experienced abuse, particularly at the hands of a man or men. I think sometimes it is hard for these women to unburden themselves in front of men. Perhaps they might learn to relax and trust again, but that kind of healing takes time.
