Everyone said what I would say. Sometimes you just have to jump in and sometimes we all drop out for one reason or another. I've found that things quiet down over the weekends and Holidays, so don't let that throw you.
I'd also encourage you to drop into Open once in awhile. You never know who you'll catch there, in live time.
