I thought it best to redirect this.....The lyrics you wrote are perfectly true. (thanks) For me it has much to do with low-self esteem, zero confidance, self-reproach, and perfectionism. Distorted thinking has kept me in my cage for many years. What a waste!

There's a character in the book, "Pilgrim's Progress" like this; in a self-made cage.
