Yup. There are better and worse syrups. I can't remember the one I like. It is imported from Brazil...

You can add syrup shots to black coffee.
No problem.I think the caramel macchatio is a kind of latte though (so in theory mostly milk and only enough water to get the goodies out of the coffee grinds)
I do love coffee :-)
