He's a hansome kitty!
I asked my vet that a few weeks ago- because I had a cold, and my littlest cat was sneezing. He said that cat colds can only be caught from other cats- and that when a cat gets a cold, it's a respritory infection... and that you'll definitely know if they have one, because they will sneeze up something awful (and you'll find the cat 'boogers' all over your walls) and they'll get greenish/yellow goo coming out of their eyes.
So they don't get our colds, and we can't get theirs. BUT cats will sneeze if there is a lot of dust around or if the air is really dry- which it can get in the winters- but as long as nothing nasty is being sneezed out, they are a-ok.
