My sister and I are very close, too. Our mom doesn't understand it because we don't talk all that often (neither of us are really chatty), but when we do talk it's as if no time has lapsed.
I was so scared of losing her.
I can't even imagine what it must feel like to lose a child. I lost one for 20 years (I was forced to give her up for adoption) and that nearly killed me.
