Thanks, Lou, for your explanation. I believe that it is right on target.

As you can see this is a re-directed post. I've been posting on how much I hate Effexor since I found out that it was the source of my three-year illness and unanticipated and thoroughly disgusting withdrawal syndrome this past September.

Someone had asked if I were going to post a solution to the problem, and I have actually spent many hours posting solutions to the problem if anyone wants to look back in the posts. The only real problem is that there is no "solution" to the problem because the withdrawal drama is a bit permanent for some of us. We do not heal completely; hence completely innocently, some of us for reasons like pain or lack of energy, have taken a drug that actually caused those very same problems to be compounded and are now saddled with some potentially greater problems than we had in the first place.

Hence, my meeting with the most wonderful lawyers on earth in the next half hour, the ones that are most likely going to come to our rescue; the only ones that I've been to find that think it's pretty awful that the other firms only want dead people and their relatives as clients.

I broke down and called a client of my own, though I didn't want to mix my own medical problems with my business -- Boy, I really didin't want to do that -- but on behalf of myself and everyone that needs this and the 7400 people that signed the Effexor petition if they are interested -- it has been my mission to have Wyeth-Ayerst publically answer some questions, and I have finally garnered a bit of support. I'm hoping that family practitioners, internists, gynecologists, orthopaedists, and others will elect to join me and other patients in our pursuit of justice as they, too, are innocent victims of the lack of information put forth about the dangers of this drug.

We'll just have to see what happens, but I should know more than I have in a long time within the time it takes to go make a cup of coffee.
