After nearly 25 years of Social Work working with predominately women and living with 3 females, I have begun to get closer to my feminine side. I think that I scratch, spit, and swear less (OK, so I spit less) and I have actually been seen putting the remote down (if only to pick up my beer). Seriously, recently I purchased vanilla and cinnamon from Tina, I enjoyed watching "Mean Girls" more than "Master and Commander," I actually noticed Becky's highlights, I baked over the weekend, .and I purchased two Hummels off of eBay. When UPS arrived with my purchase, I ran to the truck. Unfortunately, my neighbor, Bob, noticed the small box and asked what I was so excited about. I stammered, "Oh, it's just a signed Sammy Sosa ball." Since joining the unit, Jeff has been attempting to school me in remedial maleness, but I'm afraid the damage is done. Why this morning I cracked J*** up when I asked looking in the mirror, "Do you think this makes me look fat?" I won't even mention the sampler I cross-stitched for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary.Anyway, I baked some Valentine's cookies for you guys (I wish), so come and have one, they're devine, er, really awesome.
