Why I read stories like these

I always feel as though I need to do more when I hear stories liek this, which is why I read them, to get myself off my butt and do something.

There is a women's shelter down the street from me- I went there this morning to sign up for volunteering... they were so happy. There were kids sleeping everywhere, adn the women were smiling- I felt much better.
