I read it Fallen when you posted it. I'm glad you ended up doing "something" for New Year's, even though it wasn't perfect. These types of hyped evenings are never good for anybody. We usually stay home with our kids and play board games. But the past couple years, we've gone up north for some skiing. At midnight, the ski lodge shoots off fireworks, so that is kind of neat for everyone.
Anyway, it sounds as if you had an okay meal and did some shopping too. Any good deals out there?
