Oh, ha ha! Yes of course there are small towns in the States too (we really do need an embarrassed emoticon or an equivalent). Golly gee, thats rather a few...
I found that in hunting down where one of the Universities I had applied to lives. In NY State so I just assumed the whole darn region was busy busy busy (It took a while to get the State / City distinction - embarrassed emoticon again). Anyways the place where the university is has even less peoples than where I am at now! I think it is a University town, however, because there aren't really all that many more peoples in the town than there are at the University. Just the husbands / wives / children of them, no doubt.
Still. I like cities. At least, I think I do. I like Auckland but that is tiny by international standards. I mean there are more peoples in Sydney than there are in the whole of NZ (just to give you some indication).
