Have you seen *Love, Actually?* It's on HBO and available for rental. It's with Hugh Grant and it's a romantic comedy that takes place at Christmas time.
Not too romantic, not sad, and you will really root for the not perfect girl who wants to win his heart. I won't give away the ending.
