It is a good movie and diserves well to have won best picture. I also like thomas newman's score to the movie. He also did shawshank redemption.
It's really difficult to quantify crimes of a sexual nature because sexuality can be such a powerful human emotion.
Hunger, and sexuality are probably equally as powerful driving forces. You would never think of
arressting somebody for eating too much, or because they desired chocolate instead of healthy food like vegetables. But food cannot suffer so the only person it harms is the individual.Sex is another thing. You can't just go to the store and pick up whatever suits you.
