No offence taken. Like I said, I am a pacifist so I don't think anybody should be drafted so personally I'd go for equality that way rather than the equality of everyone being drafted.
I just think that it is interesting that that one hasn't come up as a womens lib issue, that is all.
I agree, we still have a long way to go with respect to pay parity etc. Even the expectation that the female will keep house and the assumption that the female will be the primary caregiver even.
The fulla who ends up with me will be in for a bit of a shock there, I'm afraid.
But the pay differential really sucks. And there should be paid maternity leave, and there should be paid leave for the first year after birth (in my opinion).
Still, better than it was I guess.
