Much more uplifting

Posted by pegasus on October 6, 2004, at 14:54:19

OK, that was depressing. It made me realize that I tend to only write about problems on here. And, if I'm going to start mattering to myself, at least, I need to practice recognizing the good stuff too. So here is another way of looking at it:

Sometimes it seems as thought the way the world goes on despite any individual's life experiences is a sign of indifference. But if I think about it differently, it's also a sign of resilience and strength, and order in the universe. Something that can be relied on. Summer comes, then fall, then winter, then spring, no matter what my life is like. And each change is so beautiful and right! Today is a beautiful fall day, and it's just perfect that it should be so. People go to work, and kids go to school, and everyone comes home, and goes to sleep. I can care, or not care, but the day is just what it is, regardless. So maybe that's me too. Maybe people can care or not care, but I'm a whole person with strengths and weaknesses and opinions and thoughts and issues, regardless.

Hope that makes a little sense.
