Congratulations!! I have a nephew and its been great fun. Its a bit like being a grandparent- you get the good stuff like playing with them, then you just hand them back if they get tetchy, need changing or whatever. And the parents have the tough role of being the ones to say 'no'.
I dont have kids of my own, and am sorry that my sister and her family are in a city a long way from me. Kids do grow up really quickly- its a cliche but true.
