Bird Migration? Were you at Audebon Ranch?
I can trip on flat pavement. Seriously - I was changing planes in Tokyo once and tripped on flat carpet getting off the first plane. Broke the ankle. Of course I didn't know it was broken because I didn't go to a doc until I got home.
Never mind how inept the airline staff was. I did at least get a whole row to myself on a very full flight.
And the boot was wonderful (do you have the air pump one?) After a few days to a week I was getting around pretty good. I took my daughter to London and Poland while I was wearing it, and it got me to the front of all the lines at Disney!
I'm sure you'll feel better in no time.
