It's been my understanding and my observation, having seen it done thousands of times on PB without any repercussions, that using a "naughty" word was kosher as long as you used an asterisk or asterisks to "bleep" part of it and self-censor yourself. Which is exactly what Jai did. So what's up with the PBC in this case? I ask because I've posted close to 40 poems and short stories on Writing over the past two and a half months, and a lot of them have contained precisely the same form of self-censorship that Jai used. Has this rule suddenly changed? What's the deal? Because if I have to write only G-rated Disney-style poems on PB from now on, I'm outta here. There are plenty of other poetry message boards that aren't so heavy-handed when it comes to self-expression. So what's your ruling on this? I'd appreciate it if you'd explain why Jai rated a PBC on this, and how it affects the rest of us. Atticus
