I think I know how you feel about having a challenging job. Being busy in itself is good. Being busy doing something that is fully engrossing is better. My IT career died 3 years ago and I haven't been able to find a job suitable to my intellectual and financial needs. The thought of a boring job (my 1st major depression followed a year in an incredibly boring and unchallenging position) is depressing, if not terrifying. I'm trying to have faith that I'll eventually find something tolerable before I have to live in a cardboard box. Wish you all the luck in the world.
