Have you ever had to turn around and go back home to check and see if the iron is unplugged, and halfway expect to see just a pile of smoking soot where your house was?

Oh, my . . . if I use the iron I have to cool it off with a wet rag and take a poloroid of myself putting it away before I can leave the house! same with the coffe pot . . . I actually called my daughter (who lives about 3 miles away from me) awhile back to go unplug it for me because I was too far away to come back when I thought of it (yes, it was already unplugged when she got to my house . . . so does that surprise anyone? didn't think so LOL)
