My husband is brilliant, graduated with honors, has great people skills, and has gotten fabulous reviews from day one.
He applied for forty jobs and was only offered one. The one where he still works and the one that prizes him so highly. All it takes is one acceptance, and it might take a while.
The thirtynine rejections didn't mean my husband was bad in any way. It just meant that there were thirtynine human resources people who didn't recognize what an asset he would be.
