I'm afraid a road trip isn't going to work into my plans. But I hope y'all will stop and stay at my place on your way. I'm in the central Rocky Mountains. I only have 3 bedrooms, and one is for me and hubby and the cat, so you'll be a bit crowded. But I have a fold out couch, and a big backyard and some tents and sleeping bags. The backyard has lots of flowers and trees and is very private. Only a few wild animals.
Plus I'll take you all out to breakfast the next day. I *love* going out to breakfast. So, that'll be my $$ contribution: breakfast for everyone, and I'll fill up the car(s) with gas. In exchange I'm gonna have to hear about every gory detail.
Now, there are some issues. If you're allergic to cats there is a problem. The backyard is currently a zone of frequent conflict among the 10-20 neighborhood cats. Not to mention the deer. And I don't want anyone stomping on my vegetable garden (although, maybe you'll keep the deer away, which would be nice).
There is only one bathroom, so we'll have to carefully schedule showers, because I'm counting about 20 or so of you. I figure it'll take about 5 hours to get everyone through.
If we're lucky my next door neighbors will have a party, because they are in a really good band, and we'd all be invited.
If you stay on Friday, you'll be woken at about 4 a.m. (well, maybe it's 9, but it feels like 4) by carloads of children coming to play soccer in the park across the street. But that way we'll be able to get all the showers in and still go to breakfast at a reasonable time.
