I think the problem is that Dr. Bob has been away from the board and things don't get taken care of right away. :(
But what happens is that when there's even a bit of unpleasantness, everyone else seems to get quiet, like they're holding their breath.
This means that not only does the unpleasantness take on undue weight on the board, but it does so partly because it really is the biggest thing going on.
Sometimes when that happens I get absolutely manic. Posting as many cheerful things and as many halfway interesting topics as I can dredge out of my mind to try to tip the balance of the board to the positive. But my mind's a blank at the moment.
Get back here Dr. Bob! We need you!
