10. kk has nerve pills for emergencies. and now kk is calm. her typing isn't up to par, but wowsa!!!! is she ever calm when the tide is high.
9. kk is going to shower with many, many people. and showering with many, many people is always Always ALWAYS a wonderful thing. HEY???? who dropped the soap??? all done? was that you?
8. kk loves her mother. and her mommy loves her.
7. kk has been crying often. but, she has wonderful friends who have been able to catch her when she falls.
6. kk has been thinking lately about her purpose in life. think too much you say? perhaps. however, is there really such a thing?
5. kk has nine beautiful nails. and one not so beautiful nail that broke. she'll be able to fix them in a month (GASP!!!! a whole month!) but, she still has her people skills and nothing can take those away.
4. kk has communication. and a voice. (and what a womderful voice she has.) a voice that will be heard. one day she will learn to use her voice in such a way as to teach. right now she's using her voice to communicate. and it's marvelous. simply marvelous darling.
3. kk loves to read. and write. (forget arithmetic, who needs that anyway? what can you learn with math? how can you solve everyday problems with math? 'oh, you should quit your job and find a new place to live because my CALCULATOR WATCH says the Hamiltonian circuit is a conceptually easy algorithm, therefore it shows the quickest ruite to take.' yeah, math helps solve problems [can you tell i'm not a big math fan? :)]) go on math fans, hit me, i dare you. back to the list... since she loves to read and write, she learns new things everyday. and learning is wonderful. she thinks that learning is essential to living. and she loves to learn about people. and dreams. and hopes. and experiences.
2. kk took the shuttle to class today. she talked to the girl next to her. she petted the girl's jacket. she said it was down. they talked about down for a while. the girl had on a wedding ring. the girl just got married two weeks ago. the girl has beein with her husband for five years. the girl is pregnant. the girl was recently accepted into the nursing department. the girl is scared. the girl drives an hour to get to class. the girl likes math and science, as she can practice the problems. the girl was going to history. the girl hates history. the girl slept in her car and set her cell phone alarm to wake up. the girl kept her car running so she could stay warm. kk suggested the student center, so she could sleep near the fire place. the girl was happy with the suggestion. the girl was scared about school. the girl plans to leave the area after graduation. kk and the girl talked the whole time on the bus ride. the girl thanked kk for talking. kk hoped the girl wasn't scared anymore. the girl left to go to her history class. the girl gets all A's in her classes and is nervous about getting a C in history. kk told her she'd do fine in her class. kk told her congratulations several times durng the conversation. amazing what you can learn about people on a bus, isn't it? kk wasn't so nervous when she went to speak to her prof about her topic for the law paper. the girl helped kk to not be scared too. they helped eachother on the bus.
1. kk is happy. kk is healthy. trees. books. love. sisters. the sun. the moon. words. voices. telephone. songs that say what kk can't. children. smiles. the mail carrier. my doggie. babble. open. kid a's words. vegas. the shuttle bus when kk is tired. tv. water. the sea. staplers. cigarettes. coffee with cream. wine. art of all kinds. gas stations that have tp when kk runs out. that feeling kk gets in her belly when she knows that she is loved. log cabins. horse races when the odds are 20/1 and kk places a $5 bet because the horse is named Brack, after a cartoon character from Space Ghost and that darn horse wins!!!! your own booth at Churchill Downs. IM. thank you cards. getting letters in the mail. traditions. should i continue?
