Monday!!! my basement flooded. i went to check on laundry (at 3 am, i might add) and the washer wasn't spinning. so, i had to wring my clothes out by hand. (good, now i can go to the laundry mat for a while. you can meet some interesting folks there anyway) while doing so, my nail broke. on my thumb. taking my real nail with it. (more reason to get my nails done sooner anyway) did i swear, you ask? yes, of course i did. did i mean it? no, of course not. so, i had to wake up early, forgot to work on an english paper that was due, because i was working on the law paper. ZERO, ZERO, ZEROOOOO. it's ok, i have a high A anyway, with plenty of back up points.
i did receive some alarming news today though. i have yet another relative who died mysteriously this last weekend. again, another young death in my family, at the age of 42. i guess the positive is that they will finally work to determine what is causing all the young deaths. and i will finally stop worrying that i'm going to die when i hit 40.
i also found out in my english class that i'm best suited for social work from some personality and career test. oh, and that i'm easily distracted. oh, like i didn't know that.
i still can't stand mondays. kid, can you teach me to put a positive spin on things? and will you clean up the dog poop in my yard?
