Babble Etiquette

Posted by Karen_kay on March 24, 2004, at 18:12:31

I was thinking. If you post something and have, say, 10 replies, is it necessary to post a reply to all 10 of those replies? In doing so, that means that you have 10 straight posts from yourself that may or may not say the exact same thing. I, with the faulty memory, may be contradicting myself, on accident of course. And it isn't as though I don't appreciate the suppport from everyone here, but the thought just occurred to me that those posters that I happen to skip may feel left out. So, Medusa, Queen of Etiquette, could you tell me the correct solution to this problem? And of course other people with proper (or even impropper) manners should feel free to reply as well(and is this line really necessary? I mean, I always poke my head in, even when not invited, doesn't everyone else?). I just hate seeing myself posting 30 times in a row. And I also hate skipping over people. And I really hate typing the same thing over and over again. Sometimes I'll type 3 or 4 different names in the subject line and that works. But what I really hate is cooking dinner. Any suggestions for that while I'm asking these tough questions? Any advice before I finish up the task I have on Psychobabble? I'm holding off until then...
