I'm so sorry that this had to happen to you. I know with all of the things going on in your life, that you didn't need this. It may seem hard to do, but please try to avoid taking it personally. See if you can find someone there to use as a reference; just because you were fired doesn't necessarily mean that no-one there will speak well of you.
In the meantime, you still have lots of things to occupy your mind while you are out of work.
I hope you can eventually see this as a positive for it might well be.
