After seeing the get-ups that Patricia Fields puts on Carrie I just start thinking 'Hey-- you can throw anything on any old way and call it fashion'. Or check out the creative clothing of Tokyo teenagers in this book "Fruits". I'm not sure it's really such a good influence on me come to think of it. :-)
