My favorite subject! I think 2- 21/2 inch heel is fine. I like pumps that have a rounded toe and aren't too scooped out. I have on my favorite red ones right now - Red leather with a high square heel - I spent the day at the capital and they were perfect - made an authoritative sound!
I think basic black velvet pumps or strappy backs are great too. They dress up anything.
I love the clogs you picked - very "in". Would be great with longish cord. skirt.
I wear a 6 1/2 so I usually can find stuff left on sale - to small for everyone else. I'm still looking for those boots though.
And Nordstroms - the best place to buy shoes! I just got a pair of aqua pumps that have the heel kind of cut out in the middle and a bow stuck back there. They are really cute! *sigh* like I have the money for this. I told my Therapist he could at least wear different shoes each week because I'm losing my shoe budget to therapy costs!
