See- $$$ is my problem too. My fiance has his own Computer Biz in Boston- it's really doing well- he started it in May and they are still in the black. They have this great chance of getting some GREAT office space and new prospects in Rhode Island. My job, as much as I dislike it, pays me double what people my age make (especially considering that I have no college diploma) and I get health, dental, vision and mental health care for the both of us (the company I work for gives great domestic partner benefits) So, I'm the breadwinner. My fiance has done SO much for me, he helped me get back on my feet. All I want is to be able to help him, which is what I'm doign with this job.

The problem- I hate it.... I remind myself why I'm doing it and feel a little better- but I can't help but HATING wasting time with this work I do for MACHINES... the only people I help are the ones having problems with their computers... I'm a people person- I want to work with kids... I am a web designer- i design in Flash, but with this horrible economy, the last people getting hired at web designers.... and working with kids often pays so little it's hard to live... right now me and the new hubby are saving for our wedding and a house... with both our incomes we will be able to do this. If I changed careers now, it wouldn't happen.

Ahhh... the pain we go through for love, eh?
