Spiders. Ugh. I once saw a scanning electron microscope picture of one someone left lying around the lab. All I can say is EEEWWWWWWW. And ticks. ticks ticks ticks. Nasty horrible things. At least spiders eat bugs. WHAT do ticks do? WHY are they here? They are evil. They latch onto you. Like eight-legged mini-vampires. Like a bad houseguest. Like terrestrial lamprey fish. And they're damn tough to kill. Utterly freaks me out anytime I get one. And they always go for places you can't easily reach to yank them out. DEET's good, but it's no guarantee they won't getcha. Then there's bugs. Exoskeletons. Creep me out. Okay, I'm not up to phobia range with these things, but I hate 'em bad. Gimme a nice smooth garter snake any day. Or a nice hoppy frog or toad. Those are very cute. And they eat bugs. Does anything eat ticks?
