I'm dx with Bipolar Disorder and I've never been asked about my sexual orientation. I've experimented in the past and I've told my current therapist this, but not by him asking. Just by me opening my mouth and spewing forth the info. Strange that your doctors always ask. If I'm in a situation where I'm asked questions that I'd rather not answer, I'll usually say, "Hmmm, now why do you want to know that?" If I like the response I'll answer the question. If not, I won't. But, I'm usually more curious about the motivation behind the question than the actual question..... That's just me.
