I don't know about mini-dachshunds at all, but if there is a risk of injury, she should probably sleep on a dog bed or something for now.I know dogs don't *like* to sleep on the floor, but maybe you should make her until she's fully housebroken. It will probably give you a couple of sleepless nights as she whines, but she'll settle down once she knows who's boss. Prob'ly best for her health....
And then *after* she can sleep thru the night (sounds like a baby!), she can sleep to her heart's content up on the bed... :-)
