To me that creates more opportunity to see personalities-- which I enjoy, but it can also feel less safe, and you can end up dealing with the more difficult parts of those personalities. That's what I mean by messy.

Hmmm. I'm just going to have to keep that in mind as I read posts. I think that's the part I have trouble grasping. To me the medication board seems to be more ummmm... high spirited?

I think it's because I am generally rather earnest and serious. To tell you (and the whole world I guess) I didn't always get all the humor back then (or now). But I could see the inspired silliness of it all, and it made me feel good to be a part of it. It seemed so therapeutic and... alive is the word I think I want.

Well, while I enjoy the new people, I also get angry about the administrative policies at times (as you may have noticed :D). I just hate it when a dustup on the board causes people to leave. And I hate it even more when administrative decisions contribute to that.

Oh, no. I didn't ever think you were maligning it. You just seemed to have a better handle on the concept than I do. And oddly, I don't really like any of those things (fingerpainting and mudpies). :)
