i told my wife-soulmate about why i was upset ... she was very sweet about it and kind and comforting ... she was (is always) very supportive ( i am so blessed and i know it ) ... ...
... but afterward, i felt, if anything, worse ...
sylvia has this small dia de los muertos doll ... it's black and painted to resemble a skeleton ... our 4 year old found it in her jewelry box ... he looked at it and then put it back ... sometime later she tells me she was concerned because she noticed he would check the box every once in while to see the death doll ... she suggested we take it out, so he wouldn't have to worry ...
... i told her, no! ... if he is checking to make sure it's there, what must it imply if it disappears? ... it could be anywhere! ... then she suggested we get more of them and just place them all over the place so he could get use to them ... again i rejected her approach ... what must it mean if even while in the box, it multiplies and begins a seige? ... yikes! ... ... he stopped checking the jewelry box some time ago now ... he's gotten older and now it's just a doll ...

.. so much so that i could enjoy it ... (?)... Because we have things to do!
