With basically all of my burnout symptoms and some of my inattentive ADD symptoms in remission I've been giving thought to all the things I learned outside of my grad school studies. I can see now that my ADD compelled me to learn something about many different fields rather than obessesively concentrate on what I was supposed to be doing. (People who aspire to being self-styled Renaissance men/women should probably avoid going after advanced degrees in applied science!) However, I think I was "on" to various themes and that interesting connections can be made between the different entrees in my intellectual smorgasboard and with focus coming on I want to get it down in hypertext for my own benefit and to see what others have to say. So, if you care to, drop in for a visit sometime and let me know what you think. At the moment most of the links I forsee coming up aren't ready as well as nearly all of the commentary and it will take me a long time to mature the site (I see it as a living document that will probably never be entirely finished). Maybe I'm "advertising" prematurely, but then maybe I could get asthetic pointers or comments on browser incompatibilities and what not. See you in my "thought universe" sometime. ;-)
