Technically, she's leaving 2 months early - the lease ends at the end of December, but with the 1 months rent for a lease cancellation fee, really it's like she's leaving one month early. Which is just plain stupid in my opinion. I have yet to figure out what she has against staying to the end of the lease, but at least she has finally given me a date so I have something to work with. There's nothing I hate more than not knowing information I need so I can make a decision for myself.
Didn't even speak to her last night. She was upstairs, as usual, when I got home, and I was downstairs, and we didn't speak when I went upstairs. I didn't speak, and she didn't speak. But, I'm sure, if you asked her, she would say she didn't speak b/c I didn't speak. Well, guess what? I didn't speak b/c I didn't want to speak! But her actions are always taken as a result of something I've done, it seems.
Okay - rambling here. Sorry. I'm just still irritated about this whole situation, and at this point, as you said, I need to just say "This is how it is" and move on.
Moving on...
And waiting for November...
