The vet is my wife's job, especially since she is the one protecting the piss-cat. Anyway, I don't think she has asked about anything else yet. My next pdoc appt is next week, and I was going to ask if there is somewhere I can buy 1 g (i.e. 1000 mg) of pure amitriptyline powder (I will use a vet prescription). Since it is freely soluble in water, I can make a water solution from which we add only 1 or 2 drops into the cat food. That would be about 1 year supply.
In any case, Dusty is behaving better but she still hates the pills and resists taking them (but not the tapazole pills, so it is certainly taste).
