There's few rules in un-monitored chatrooms like Yahoo, etc. Even AOL, if you want to go thru the hassle of emailing a complaint in, or trying to find a Guide (if they still have them). And on IRC, I had an angry young man tell me how he wanted to shove a gun barrel in my mouth and shoot (real gun, not a sexual reference). I have a vivid imagination so that upset me tremendously. Here, at Dr.Bob's, there are simple rules. Break those rules and you can be post-banned. I like that kind of safety, though it's limited.
Don't take anything personally, here or anywhere online. :)
KDi in Texas> I have been to the yahoo chatrooms this week just for fun but they are always mean to me. Is it me or is it just the way chatrooms are? If they are just like that, I'll steer clear from now on. Jeez, they really get nasty and I don't do anything to deserve it. sheesh I don't need my self esteem beat up right now. <whine><sigh>
