I've gotten better about not freaking out about it - I used to be so tense when driving or even when someone else was driving. But I think that the issue for me may be that I was somewhat traumatized by an accident early in my driving career in which I went off the road and totalled my car. I wasn't hurt though, but it really scared me!
I love the quiet of the snow though. Like, outside it just seems so serene and stuff.
